Hello everyone,

I planted a rose in a HUGE pot about a month ago and I was wondering could it stay in it or do I have to plant it in the ground when it gets bigger. It's grown alot, at first it dropped all it's leaves and stems and stuff but now it's grown it all back and more.

Here's some pic's of it,

It seems to be doing good, and the wax is coming off as it grows I don't know why it was covered in wax it looked like they burned it...

Hello everyone,

I just figured I would show everyone how my rose is doing. It's doing very well it even has 2 flower buds on it already. I'm so excited and can't wait for them to flower.

Here's some pics of it now,

Looking good!

I just planted 4 rose bushes in pots, but these are big pots, it took two wheelbarrels full of dirt, on top of a layer of rocks, just to fill the pots. And that is per pot, for a total of 8 wheelbarrels of dirt.

Since, I always kill roses, I thought I would try them in pots this time.

Wow, those do sound pretty big lol. This is my first rose, I was scared at first because it dropped all of it's leaves. It looked like it was dieing at first but then I moved it where it would get more light then the leaves started to come back. It was still little and then it rained the other night and ever since then it's been growing a little more every day. I just saw the buds yesterday around 4 p.m.. And I'm so excited now. :D

I hope your roses grow like mine is now.

My roses are dying :( . I was too distracted with grandson's accident and too busy running here and there, and they got too dry.

I am now watering them morning and night, but, it may be too little too late. I am being hopeful that I see one leaf on each of 2 of them that might be un-wilting (is that a word? ). But, I suspect they are history, as is my grape vine and horseradish root. Oh well, grandson is doing good.

I can get new roses. Wonder if a cutting off a dead one would grow?

I am hoping they will make a come back like yours did, but not my track record with roses.
