My First Roses

I got some Roses from the store today. They are in the plastic bag at the moment. I wanted to plant them as soon as possible, however I live in Nebraska and there is a winter storm watch tomorrow and the next day.. it will clear up by Tuesday. Will my rose bush be ok until then? Should I plant it in a pot for now and keep it indoors near a window until it gets warm?

By "in the plastic," I assume you have dormant roses. I think they'll be okay as they are until the weather is a little better. After all, if you hadn't purchased them, they would just be waiting at the store, not in the ground or in pots. If you have an area like a garage or basement that is unheated but not subject to freezing temperatures, I think it would be good to store them there until you can get them planted. I'm no pro with roses, though. :)

But it is still a good answer, kisal.

Exactly so...
