WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED???? I'll never understand how posters don't understand how paramount this information is to enable folks to be able to help them. Please - where are you located???

Hmmm since I don't recognize it, it can be located in some warm - mediteranean area...

It looks a bit like a sweet bay laurel (laurus nobilis). Are the leaves aromatic when you crush them?

Yes - I thought the same thing - "Sweet Bay Laurel". But I waver on internet I.d.-ing when someone not only doesn't provide their location but is also asking if something is poisonous.
