Cloning Clematis

I didn't see a cloning area, so I figured this was close enough.

I have this really nice clematis that we bought, and want to clone it. I bought cloning hormone, or maybe it was called rooting hormone, but I was wondering how successful this usually is. The place we bought the clematis from only has 2 more of them, and they said they won't be getting anymore of these this season.... and I don't want to spend another $60, anyway.

Is this pretty easy?
