roselle seeds sprouting inside the capsule

I harvested seed from my roselle today and discovered in one of the pods that some of the seeds were sprouting. I was planning on saving the seeds but I will try to pot them up and hope they survive. This is the first time this has happened but we did have a few days of rain last week and the pods could have gotten wet enough to sprout. I have seen avocados and chayote sprouting while hanging, but this is a first for me.

Neat. I have found pumpkin seeds sprouting inside the pumpkin and out of a daylily pod I found a little daylily plant.
