Berry Buckle (Struesel Coffee Cake)!

Here is a recipe I made up for my excess Himalayan Blackberries last year....very delicious and makes just enough for a few people in the AM for breakfast and so it doesn't stick around long enough to go to waste! Fresh or Frozen blackberries, doesnt matter which you use....great way to use up a lot of berries in a small dessert/breakfast! Enjoy!

Berry Buckle-Struesel Coffee Cake (my own recipe changed from another to suit my needs):

2 C Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Ground Ginger
2 Oz. Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter At Room Temp. (must be unsalted sweet cream!)
1 ½ C Sugar
1 Lg. Egg
½ C Milk
3 C Frozen Berries Of Choice
½ C Sugar
1/3 C Flour
½ tsp Nutmeg
2 Oz. Chilled And Cubed Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter (must be unsalted sweet cream!)

Grease a 9 X 9 inch pan and set aside. Mix all dry ingredients together (except the last 4 ingredients) and then add the wet (except the last 4 ingredients), add the berries last and then mix well. Pour batter and smooth into the greased pan. Combine the last 4 ingredients and mix by hand to a streusel consistency. Spread evenly over top of batter and then bake at 375 degrees 50 to 55 minutes and the streusel topping is golden brown.
