Kratky Lettuce

After years of soil lettuce in winter I have finally seen the light! This fall/winter Ive had harvest after harvest from Kratky method leaf and head lettuce along with mesclun mixes and mustard greens. How do you guys like it, have you tried it? I can get a harvestable head in about 45 days and then I dump and add new plants that have been seeded on a every 2 week cycle. Check it out if you havent done it. Set the water ph and nutes, align water level to bottom of net cup, and thats it. You shouldnt have any issues, I check Ph and Ppm but they bounce up above 7 eventually but fill out well. Here is a few pics, thanks!

I was talking to my father-in-law about this just a couple of days go. It's on my list of things to look into, but I haven't done it yet.

kratky works best for short crops like lettuce and is much easier than hydro since you don't need the pump, aerator and usually the solution will last until the crop is ready. You have a nice set up.
