I have a Fukien Tea and it is my first bonsai. I was just wondering if anyone has any specific care tips for it?

Especially WATERING tips/guidelines.
I read online that full on submerging the bonsai (not the leafy part obviously) in water for 10 minutes or so is good, is it suitable for the Fukien tea?

Water as needed. Learn how to check when the plant needs to be watered using the chopstick or weight method. Fukien tea can handle drying between watering.
