Browning leaves on a Ligustrum

Hi!

I acquired this Bonsai as an Xmas present, so I've had it for several months now. I originally placed it on the windowsill, but it seemed to be drying up quite quickly so I moved it. However, as you can see from the pictures some of the leaves are browning at the tips. Is this just a product of its new location(I.e. it's not getting as much light)? If so, should I just move it again,or is there anything else I can do to remedy this?

First off - your tree is an OUTDOOR species, so keeping it indoors will most likely slowly kill it regardless.

If you absolutely must keep it indoors, it needs to be in the very brightest sunniest spot possible. Due to the nature of bonsai & their containers, "drying up quite quickly" is frankly the nature of the beast. Take a little time to do a little bonsai care research to get a feel of what you need to do to keep your gift alive & well as far as watering/feeding/etc. Your plant will thank you.
