It is what it is and nothing more. It doesn't try to be anything else.

I don't have it mounted to a box, so I can't demonstrate. Take a look at this Youtube video. This guy really gets into his work.

That is so cool the way it hands the empty cob back to the operator.
I'm always amazed by the ingenuity and and appreciative of this kind of really FUNCTIONAL designs.

That thing is awesome. I am tempted to buy one even though I have no use for one.......... I could get one to go as a decoration where I store wine....

Take a basic southern cornbread recipe and doctor up.

I browned up some hamburger with a whole small head of garlic. Then I moved this to a bowl and added shredded pepperjack cheese and red enchilada sauce.

Heat up your cast iron skillet in the oven with butter. Pour the southern recipe batter into the hot skillet and then sprinkle the meat mixer over the top. The meat mixer will sink in as the cornbread raises.

The recipe I use, calls for pouring a cup of whole milk in on top of the batter. I eliminated this step do to the cheese and enchilada sauce.

Just playing around with flavors. It can be tweaked.
