how much bush bean? (baking variety)

I'm trying bush beans for the first time this year. Specifically Soldier Beans. What is a good amount to plant? The packet says to space them 2" apart, which sounds close. I have about a 14' row available for them. What is a good amount of plants to have, and is 2" about the right spacing?

I planted a 10 foot row of bush beans about 3 inches apart last year, and I got enough to serve with dinner every 4 days.

I am going to plant 2 rows this year about 3 weeks or so apart so I have a longer harvest.
