Help! What is wrong with my succulent?

My succulent has been growing pretty well but over the last few days, the leaves started turning brown/black and they just drop off once I touch it. There hasnt been much sunlight here and I water it occasionally, however I left it out a few times while raining. Could it be an overwatering problem or root rot? Any advice on what my next steps should be. greatly appreciate any help thanks

I am sorry. Even before reading, I knew it was too much water. Your plant looks like it cannot be saved. I am sorry.
Succulents require good drainage so any container you plant it in, has to have hole.
