Compost Run Off

Hello!

I've had my own little compost going for a while now and have followed all the tutorials, it seems to be doing well!

My question is, what can I do with the liquid that runs out of it? Can I use it in anything or should I toss it away?

The run off is good for compost tea.

I use the worm pee from my bin on the plants.

Dilute some I think. If outdoor in ground plants, maybe 4x water, but container plants should be diluted a bit more I think -- maybe 6-8x. Safest if 10x.

Also, if this is unfinished compost leacheate coming out of a tumbling type composter, I wouldn't use it for things you would eat raw like carrots, radishes, lettuce that may come in direct contact with it near harvest.

Safest to use on ornamentals and fruit trees.
