I found this sitting in unanswered posts, sorry about that. Did you buy your compost bin? It actually looks pretty nice for a relatively reasonable price. I like that it has the cover. You can make a DIY compost bin with chicken wire or screening wrapped around poles, but then it is hard to do a good cover for it. In my neighborhood stuff that is not covered does not stay in the bin long enough to compost (mice, raccoons, etc)
