Sweetener Packets - Yay or Nay?
Hi. I've been googling around and there doesn't seem to be a consensus on whether or not you can compost empty sweetener packets. Does anyone toss those in? I looked on the Splenda website and there isn't a 'contact us' link to ask them what's in the packaging.

I'm not a composting expert but I thought I read in some of the threads that we should be using only black and white newspaper not colored ads and especially not glossy paper. Since the sweetener packets are many times pink, blue, or yellow, maybe they shouldn't be used?
It wasn't clear to me if we were talking about the white paper sugar packets or these other sweetener packets. Just a quick thought. Maybe one of our more experienced composters can respond....
