Coarse Cool Season Grass

Hi everyone!

I've been looking all over the internet in search of a coarse cool season grass,
However I can't seem to find anything appropriate niether true species nor hybrids.

My Climate:
I live in zone 7, but once in a blue moon it might dip into zone 6 for a few nights.
The grass would receive sun all day, with little to no shade, however the sun is not that strong in my country(Denmark)

My search

I would really love to try to implement a very coarse type of cool season grass, like the ones you would find in south florida.
From my guesses, these are st. augustine grass. However through reading I can see that even the cold hardy versions such as "raleigh" are not hardy enough for a zone 6 climate.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a coarse cool season grass, preferably a perrenial?

All the best,

Matt

Have you looked into Tall Fescue?
