Milk; It Does a Garden Good...

I have gotten some suspicious replies when I've discussed milk as an application for milder fungal types such as mildew, but here's some info straight from the researchers. I am aware of other concurrent studies this side of the pond too. Youy have a perfectly good organic fungicide, and you're pouring it on your cornflakes! :D

It's true Scott that diluted milk sprayed on powdery mildew and blackspot will help. You need to spray it several times though. Several of my gardening books refer to it, and I have used it on my roses.
It does work! 8)

My bee balm is not spotless, but it's close. Those blossom end rot and botrytis issues were almost non-existant in my tomatoes. Even the phlox and lilacs are clean. And I put the stuff in my coffee! Try that with Daconil! (NO! Wait! Don't! That stuff is POISON! )

Great, thanks for the information Scott. I'll bring that up at my next organic gardening club meeting.
