I live in Muskegon,Mi. which is western lower Mi.I had heard to cover the hydrangea with leaves in the fall.what should I use to put over the plant to put the leaves into?Thanks

Three to four stakes around the plant, wrapped in burlap is the old school way to do it, although laundry baskets are a good way too (assuming the plant is small enough)...
