Basil issues!

I live in Oklahoma and it has been unusually rainy this time of year. My basil looked strong and healthy and then a few days ago I went to check on it and all 3 potted basil plants looked like the following photo. I’ve done my best to self diagnose but am having a really hard time figuring out the issue. Thanks in advance!

Basil can have downy mildew problems. Spores developing on the underside of the leaves is said to be an indication. Downy mildew in any garden plant is quite unusual in my arid climate.

The fungal disease my basil use to have most often was Fusarium damping-off. This was a problem that developed in the greenhouse. I might transplant the plants into the garden and it would continue to develop. Blackening of the stems is characteristic.

I say "use to" because there are resistant varieties and avoiding this disease was fairly easy for me once those became available.
