My Lavendar tree won't rebloom

I have two small Lavendar trees . I cut the dead blooms as instructed and it was supposed to rebloom but it never did. It so green and healthy looking but no blooms.

Where are you located?

The lavender herb I am familiar with is not a tree, although in warm winter climates it can get to be a pretty big shrub. Is this what you are talking about?

In zones 10 and up lavender multifida blooms for most of the year. The other lavender and lavindins will only bloom for a few weeks in summer. They don't bloom again for another year.
