Help! Spotted Oregano leaves!

Help! There are tiny spots appearing on my oregano leaves and I am not sure what they are. I have been pinching off those leaves that are spotted but it doesn't seem to be helping. I have stopped watering my oregano for a few days as well and the issue keeps coming back. Any advice?

I think those spots are from sucking pests -- except mites and whiteflies usually cause white spots... Maybe thrips?

Are you located in a hot area? I have trouble recognizing thrips damage because we don't have much of that here.

Next time when you remove those leaves, look at the underside very carefully, use magnifying glass or take best closest focused photos and then upload and look on your computer screen zoomed in.

Yup! I'm located in a hot area. The spots kept coming back even though I have removed the leaves. Is there a way to control it? Perhaps stop watering?
