Hello,
I live in southern Ontario and am looking for a live plant of common barberry or berberis vulgaris. Does anyone know where I can get this? Thank you kindly for your help.

Hi Lisa,
I know the plant is becoming harder and harder to find in the nursery due to it's invasive and destructive habitat. It has been known to escape cultivation easily and wreak havoc on native populations.
Sorry about all the doom and gloom...it's does look beautiful when fully grown however...
(if you are still serious about getting one I think Mori Gardens may have some in the garden centre in NOTL)
