My Bonsai

I bought the Japanese Maple from a guy on Ebay. The red shoots are all new growth from pruning, and breaking off crinkled leaves.

The Juniper I got from an asian lady at our county fair. There is some slight browning underneath, but being a novice at bonsai, I have no idea what to do about that.

after a lot of pruning and sum wireing the maples would look lovely

just one point did you point the juniper and mapel in the same pot or did thay come like that.

for my money id remove the mapel into a diffrent pot and start work on it

They both came as they were in their pots. The maple was in bad shape when it arrived in the mail. It had many dead, or crinkled leaves. After a lot of pruning/breaking off dead leaves it's doing alot better.

I've thought about wire training the maple, but I don't know how to go about doing so. Do you think the maple's pot is too small?

I think the maple is fine in the pot its in and I feel you should go for wireing it just read up a little and give it a go
