Greenhouse

I want to build a greenhouse for winter use since winters here are not too cold. I can build the frame, but I don't know what to use to enclose it. I was looking for a half inch thick kind of film material. I need something that can keep in heat and the sun can still get through to reach the herb container garden. Are greenhouses able to be made or do they have to be bought?

I just did an Internet search on these two phrases:

how to build a greenhouse
how to build a greenhouse cheap

and got TONS of hits.

So I'd say you can either buy or build! I didn't look at the instrux to see what materials are recommended for the panes, but you'll want to incorporate ventilation to prevent excessive heat build-up and/or excess cold. (But you knew that already...:D)
