Avocado Sun Burnt Leaves?

My Avocado plants about between 5ft and 5 1/2 ft.

I notice on the leaves facing the sun, the leaves are burnt, mostly at the tips.

I heard they are prone to sunburn on the leaves, branches, and trunk.

Any ideas of a good way to protect them from this?

I would post a picture, but my plants are moved inside for the week due to freezing temperatures passing through.

Actually avocado trees grow best if under a sun shade for the first few years of their lives on your yard. You can by the sunshade fabric, it comes in various colors like green, black, brown. Build a support of 2X4s around it and overlay with the fabric. Your tree will do a lot better! My neighbors tree was dying until he did this and it is doing great now.
