how can I grow Thompson seedless grapes?

I am in Anza, southern CA high desert (approx 4000 ft.) We have a few bare root vines here with both red and green seedless grapes...I saw the Ph readings of about 6.5....please tell me about best soil and light conditions... after frost is gone there is a long and sometimes very hot summer (up to 100+ degrees during July and August) When can I plant? What about watering? Feeding?
Really, anything you can tell me will be a great help....thanx
