Are you referring to the tallest trees towering over the foot bridge in photo #1?

Can't ID them without a much closer view - mainly of the foliage. Sorry.

But THANK YOU for posting these gorgeous scenes. Talk about beauty, color, serenity!!!

If only we all had this in our communities. Then think of how so much of Japans natural (and man-made) wonders are wiped out in horrible disasters.

Congratulations to Portland and to all those who maintain Japanese gardens for us mortals to enjoy.

They look like douglas fir trees to me. But it is hard to tell. Very pretty place.
