Selection of tree and shurb for Japanese garden #2

Once you decided shape and size of Japaese garden, garden size stay untill end of the garden but tree and shurbs.
Tree size and shurb have to keep in good proportion to garden. Tree and shurb grow every year. To keep tree size in good prooortion to the garden, Every liveing things have to prune twice yera to several times per year depend on tree and shurb.

Tree and shurb have to take severe pruing and some case, roots pruning.
some tree like river birch drop twig year round also after prun the tree ,it lose beauty of gracefull shape.

Tree grow too fast should be avoided
Tree and shurb attract many pest should be avoided .
Tree and shurb are marginal in enviroment condition shoul be avoided
Even you are not superstition , avoid tree believed to be bad luck.
Avoid vine. wisterea is ok however, wisterea can be tamed and can be
tree from or let's it grow on stracture./Fujidana.
avoid any tree/plants irritate skin.
avoid any plants have bad odor .
Any tree grow too large should be avoided.

Above list give you some hint
There are always some excepion of above . :roll:
