Country tomato early blossoms

HI Guys, The country tomato which I had growing is about one feet high and is already giving blossoms :clap: but...
whether its good or bad...is it too early?? do I have to prune it? :eek:

I don't think so. It might be an early maturing variety or a shorter stature variety.

In any case, it could still take as much as 40-50 days after the blossoms are pollinated until the fruits are mature. (Depends on fruit size and variety).

Some people DO pinch off early blossoms low to the ground because they feel all growth along the stems up to a certain height should be pruned off to prevent fungal disease from splashing up. Bu I usually leave all early blossoms on the plant -- sometimes they don't develop anyway and are naturally aborted.

I think I have mites or thirps in my plant.. any way to control them..???
