I have a tomato plant in a Topsy Turvey and it has been doing so well since I planted it months ago, but now it's getting yellow leaves everywhere. I know there could be various reasons for yellow leaves (I have researched them) but still am not sure what I'm doing wrong, help please. Here's the details on the plant and some pictures:
* I have been watering it every other day
* It gets over 6 hours of sun a day
* Every two weeks I pour fish water on the plant (perhaps the problem?)

Those look like the bottom leaves on my plants that stay moist from the morning dew. My initial guess would be your watering in the afternoon and the foliage is staying damp all night. If that's the case just water first thing in the morning.
Otherwise my guess would be the roots are staying too wet. The classic problem with small containers is water too much and the roots stay too wet; water to little and the roots get too hot. No good solution for this other than put it in the ground.
In my opinion it looks pretty good for an upside down plant. I've never gotten more than a fruit or two on anything but a cherry plant with the upside down setup.

I have to agree. I've never really known anybody to have a good experience with them. I'm sure they work, but they require a lot more diligence than growing the same tomatoes in a garden bed or even a large pot.barnhardt9999 wrote:In my opinion it looks pretty good for an upside down plant.
