My first red tomato of the year...

...actually my first one ever! I'm very excited seeing this as a first year gardener. I'm growing this plant in a Topsy Turvey and man is it growing like crazy. I planted it back in December.

In addition to growing Cherry Tomatoes, I'm also growing Romas and Beefsteak.

Seeing that gives the rest of us hope--there will be ripe tomatoes, there will be ripe tomatoes . . . .
So many folks have said that topsy-turvys don't work well for them. You surely are doing something right! Enjoy your tomato, and all the tomatoes to come!
There IS a paint sale at Hope Depot ;)

Little princess picked the first 2 ripe Juliet tomatoes today (those I grow just for her). Can't take credit for them though... Had to buy starts this year cuz I messed my seeds up...
