Tiny black spots on ripe fruit

Hi,

Can anyone help? Just been harvesting tomatoes, different varieties from different areas of the property.

Some, and from both areas, have tiny black/dark brown spots on them. They are under the skin and only on ripe fruit, and mostly near the top of the fruit.

Any ideas? OK to eat?

Thanks, Rob.

Can you take pics? There are a couple of things like that such as rain/weather checking, but it shows up on green fruit

Thanks for the links :D

I ad a look earlier, the closest match is bacterial speck, although it is not as severe as the examples shown.

Thanks for your help, very appreciated. I will take a couple of photos in the morning and upload them.

Thanks TZ

Some sites tend to use the worst case pictures, which makes it hard to identify light and normal cases. However, it provides a term/terms to search for, and sometimes you can find a better picture someplace else.

This is my favorite site for good photos, but sometimes it won't work/link right.
