Here are three short film clips of our 'sweet cluster' plants this year. Clips were shot today. Lower leaves have been pruned, plus inner leaves have been thinned out as well, to open the center of the plants to give better air flow. Definitely is one of our favorites for both production, early fruit, and great taste.

Plant in new garden area, with very poor sandy soil. Hole was enriched.

Plant in oldest gardening bed area. This is a four by six planting block that has only one tomato, some flowers, and some beginning cucumber vines.

Alex - you are just a natural aren't you - well done.

I have never seen tomato plants that big and so full of lovely big fruit.

I sure hope mine turn out as good as yours. This is so exciting!

Well my sweet100 was my favorite but it has been sun scorched and has since passed.So I started some beefmaster hybrid from seed about a month and a half ago,a little late and hot but we must grow tomatoes.I also have a patio plant which is made to grow in containers.

Alex - very impressive vines! I think I will try this variety next year as well... Early start indoors paid off!

Earl - 2 months of home grown tomatoes - nice! Our weather in VA has been nothing but rains all spring long! So nothing to pick yet

And while I still have not picked any tomatoes yet, most of the plants are doing fine, grew like crazy - indeterminate varieties (earliest transplants) are all 5' plus, all have buds, some small fruits, but...

From everything I planted this year, my favorite has to be "Basket Boy Yellow" - if I'm not mistaken, it is the same variety as "Tumbling Tom". I guess different places have different names for them?

Even through weeks of rain, all bloomed, all full of fruits and nearly maintenance free... Rain slowed down, so few snaps of these little guys:

Rain should stop tonight, so tomorrow, stressed plants will get a dose of organic fertilizer!

I love the small fruited varieties for extra early fruit and heavy production. Yours looks great!
