I never did have good luck with cherry peppers.. they always rotted away as soon as they started turning red.. have you had those issues? just curious

In general no. There was one pepper in all the hundreds grown that had a black deteriorated area, it had no shade. The plant foliage and fruit was very resistance to defects, bugs and disease.

Some had fallen over, propped up again, no issues. They had dirt from rain splashed almost to their tops, no issues. I did see ants on them, but no aphids and could not see anything they were doing but walking around. Pretty happy with them, as luck would have it, they were purchased in error by a member of the family. A sweet mistake ?!!
