I assume the "buggers" are Assassin bugs. But are they in different stages, verities, and/or genders?

Uh oh -- sorry what you got there are leaf-foots. Bad stink bug-type pests. Their juvies do look similar to assasin bugs, but these are plant-juice suckers and have thinner proboscis, and the tell-tale broad flat segment on their hind legs.

I had one crawling on my windshield on the passenger side wiper this morning when I parked my car -- don't know if it came from my garden or I scooped it up on the windshield as I was driving. I got out of the car, walked directly over to the other side of the car, took off my shoe and smashed it. :x

Usually if you see a lot of bugs they are usually bad guys. If you see only a few and spaced apart they are good guys. Unfortunately the good guys aren't always handsome and wear white hats, so they are not that easy to id.

Ohh no. Very well then. I shall export them to bug hell.
