Hey all new here

hello ladies and gentlemen have quick question I am new to gardening and wanna try it out see how I do. I started some seeds in a covered stater plugs mad out of sponge bark like these:

My main question is will this affect the taste or make it considered non organic if I use these to start the plants inside before transplanting them out side in soil.

Well if you were going by regulations like USDA Certified Organic its probably a no no.
But in your case I wouldnt worry to much. But if I wanted to go a similar path in the future I would buy these peat blocks, or just garden soil.

It says: "Rapid rooter plugs are fortified with general hydroponic micronutrients for abundant root growth" These nutrients are likely not "organic". But in the end its not very much, and personally what I worry most about with non-organic is the pesticides.

Edit: Besides theese plugs are quite costy in the long run.
