am new here
I have been thinking of learning about bonsai trees and eventually grow some. I currently have a dead one that a friend left me when he passed away. and would like to start learning from you guys and gals.
those trees on the pictures are absolutely awesome.

Hi Julian, welcome to the Helpful Garderner!
To start there are a bunch of great articles on our general website and give the stickes atop the bonsai forum a read. Be sure to ask a lot of questions and get yourself some basic trees to start playing with.
Just remember to buy trees that are suited to your climate and area and keep them outside where they belong. Note, that this time of year you will need to insulate the pot of your tree. Some enthusiasts actually take their trees out of their pots and plant them in the soil this time of year.
Anyway, do a bunch of research and be sure to ask any questions you have.
