Leafs falling off and turning yellow

I have a pyracanthas coccinea, I bought it a weak ago, it was fine till today, the only thing that I think might have made this happen is maybe watering it too much, or because yesterday I let it sit in the sun for about an hour... I don't know which caused it, its my first bonsai and I want to figure out what was the problem, it may have also been, that when I put it in the sun, it was outside, and I ussually leave it in front of my window. Please help

EdwardJerm,

Do you know how it was managed before you purchased it? I ask because you mentioned that a move to sun might be the problem. If it was in a green house or outside then I doubt that a few hours of sun caused the problem.

To learn about watering please read this thread.

I don't know how it was managed before my purchase since it was a gift, I think it might just be ajusting to the weather, humidity, etc, I bought the bonsai from a different city... I think that is the problem. Thanks
