Juniper bonaai

I've had a juniper tree for three year now. It is eight years old. Over the past year the the needles have been turning brown. I pruned the tree in mid summer. It is now about 50% brown. Is there a way to stop this and turn the tree back around. I water the tree two or three time a week. And I've never repotted it. Thanks. Michael

Repotting is a necessity but not yet I would think. I suspect juniper twig blight and if half the tree has it your recovery chances are not good.

Junipers should never be left with wet foliage going into the evening; I suspect this kills more than almost any other cause...
