Hi all,

I have read countless post on Juniper Bonsai and how they should be taken care of from this forum.

This is what happened to my Bonsai. I am located at Melbourne, Australia. A couple weeks ago, the temperature went up to 40degrees and since than, some of my bonsai leaves has turned yellow. I don't really understand what happened, that very hot day I brought my Juniper Bonsai indoors and kept it in a sheltered area.

Also, new green leaves and roots are growing off the brown branches - which I dun really understand what is happening. Can somebody please help me? This bonsai is really very important to me.

I am watering it correctly as advise by the forum when I first got my bonsai, using a toothpick to check moist in soil, soaking it, keeping the needles moist daily with a mist spray, leaving it outdoors in the day to get the morning.

Please advise what is wrong and if there is anything I can do to salvage my bonsai. Thanks in advance.

pltan33,

Hello and welcome. I'm not sure what is going on with your tree. Perhaps you need to find a more sheltered location for it. Your climate is very different than mine so I am somewhat unsure. How long have you had the tree and how long was it outside before problem?
